Scouring the vast video galaxy

We're looking for new and promising talent in the indie movie world! We're talkin short films, music videos, student projects, etc.

Why should we send our stuff to you guys?

Well, because when we launch take247.com, we want to have a good base of content display. With most of our submissions coming from New York University Undergrads, we want a larger sampling of good movies.

Are you gonna take the rights to my work?

No, you retain full ownership of you work. We just want to show it to people.

How do you submit a movie?

Email it to: contact@take247.com.

What file types, size restrictions, etc?

Let's keep the file types to .flv, .mov, .mpeg, and avi. Each video must be under 50megs.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any submission, for any reason.

Top Right Corner has produced a commercial for the Doritos "Crash The Superbowl" Contest!

Recently, the crew of Top Right Corner, LLC have produced a 30 second, black and white commercial parodying the infamous 4th and 26 Philadelphia Eagles play.

You can watch it here.

Fletcher The Alien Catcher

This is a movie our fellow Take24:7 member Perry Kroll made before he came to NYU.

It portrays: Fletcher, an amateur alien hunter, who accidentally releases an invisible alien in the city.

The Lightyears come to America!

Recently, Dan and I have had the privilage of seeing The Lightyears in concert. They are awesome! If you've never heard of them, they are from the UK and are on the rise. The London Times has called them, "The hottest unsigned band." They truly are.

The Lightyears

They have recently recorded their travels across the globe and may be interested in showcasing some of their material on take247.com! Fun Stuff. This is really a great band and I hope you'll check them out at www.TheLightyears.com.

“By the end of the set you realise that your face hurts and you wonder why… and then you realise it's because you've been smiling for over an hour.”

On set at the zombie shoot.

The movie was shot in black and white. It's a spoof 1950s style government public service announcement about the zombie threat to democracy. Riveting.

What is this?

Take24:7 is kinda like youTube for people who are serious about making good movies. We're not about seeing your friends fall off their skateboards or do flaming shots while singing numa numa. Leave that to break.com or college humor.

We wanna see the independent film out there with production value. We wanna see your lives documented. Basically, we're trying to cut out the nonsense that is online video recently.

We hope to launch in the very near future. Stay Tuned.

We're making progress every day!
